Recording the Masters (RTM) is the new name for professional audiotapes.
Mulann (well-known for the development and manufacturing of magnetic ticket machines and cards) acquired all the audiotape manufacturing equipment a few years ago from Pyral.
Pyral acquired RMGI in 2014 and continued the manufacturing of the original BASF/Agfa/Emtec audiotapes at their plant in Avalanches (France) until it went bankrupt in 2016.
Mulann has made investments to improve the manufacturing processes in order to create state-of-the-art products.
The quality of the audiotapes guarantees long secure archiving of valuable audio recordings, which is not possible with HDD's or other digital media.
With the introduction of new products and accessories Mulann decided to create a new brand name and logo for the "old" BASF/Agfa/Emtec/RMGI/Pyral products:
